Special Education Teacher - Bristol, CT

What you’ll do:

• Serve as case manager for 10-15 high school students, tracking progress, adapting plans, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Deliver targeted reading and math interventions, using evidence-based instruction in small group or individualized settings.
• Work alongside grade-level ELA and Math teachers, providing co-taught instructional support within mainstream classrooms.
• Write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Participate actively in meetings, collaborate with families, and maintain thorough documentation as required.
• Foster inclusion and a positive learning environment for all students.
