Make a meaningful impact as a Special Education Elementary Teacher in an inclusive school environment located near Hyde Park, MA. This contract position is ideal for dedicated educators with a passion for supporting elementary students in all-inclusive classrooms, working to foster academic and social-emotional growth in diverse learners.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active special education teaching certification is required
  • Strong background and confidence teaching math
  • Experience supporting and collaborating within elementary school settings
  • Comfortable co-teaching and working closely with general education colleagues
  • Familiarity with managing and implementing IEPs for a varied caseload

Position Details:

  • Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 2:15pm
  • Serving elementary-aged students in an inclusion classroom setting
  • Multiple positions available: immediate opening for parental leave coverage, and two month-to-month roles with potential for extension through the school year based on performance

Responsibilities:

  • Co-teach in ELA or Math subject areas, providing specialized instruction and support
  • Case management for students with IEPs, ensuring compliance and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate daily with general educators and ancillary support teams
  • Guide and advocate for students’ academic achievement and personal development
