Step into a meaningful contract opportunity providing speech-language pathology services to students for the upcoming school year. Located near Penfield, NY, this role offers a dynamic school-based setting, allowing you to make a true impact on student development and communication skills. The position is scheduled to start September 1, 2026, and runs through June 27, 2027. With a .6 FTE assignment, there is flexibility for those interested in full-time hours as well.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
  • Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
  • Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly desired
  • Excellent communication, organization, and rapport-building abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Deliver targeted, evidence-based therapy in both group and individual settings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise towards intervention planning
