Job Description
Make a positive impact by supporting students as a skilled occupational therapist in a dynamic school setting. You'll collaborate with educators and families to empower students, address unique challenges, and promote learning success. Working on a contract basis, you'll help students enhance their abilities and reach their potential in both the classroom and daily life.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Proficiency in documentation and progress monitoring
- Flexibility and adaptability in working with diverse students and needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop student-centered therapy plans
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and self-care skills
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide clear goals and recommendations
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress
