This Long-term Contract position will partner closely with attorneys and business stakeholders to prepare, review, and organize documentation tied to acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, and construction projects. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in due diligence, title and survey review, and transaction coordination, along with the ability to keep multiple parties informed and moving toward closing.

• Prepare and assemble transaction documents for purchases, sales, loans, leases, partnerships, operating agreements, and construction matters under attorney guidance.
• Coordinate communication among attorneys, owners, lenders, investors, title companies, and other stakeholders while circulating time-sensitive legal paperwork.
• Draft and manage supporting real estate documents such as deeds, easements, escrow instructions, affidavits, closing certificates, and entitlement-related materials.
• Conduct legal due diligence by reviewing contracts, zoning provisions, statutes, and property records, then summarizing findings for attorney review.
• Proofread legal and closing documents to confirm accuracy, consistency, completeness, and alignment with transaction requirements.
• Support closing activities by tracking deliverables, gathering signature pages, submitting final documents on schedule, and helping maintain momentum through completion.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic files, document internal workflows, and preserve transaction records for ongoing reference and compliance.
• Respond to routine questions, provide status updates on real estate and financing matters, and escalate higher-risk concerns to attorneys as appropriate.
• Travel locally when needed to collect and notarize original signature pages for transaction closings.• Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions in a paralegal or comparable legal support capacity.
• Working knowledge of due diligence, title and survey review, legal descriptions, and closing documentation.
• Familiarity with real estate acquisitions, leasing, lending matters, and construction loan documentation.
• Ability to review, organize, and proofread complex legal documents with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple internal and external parties.
• Proficiency in maintaining both electronic and hard copy legal files and managing transaction records efficiently.
• Capable of analyzing zoning ordinances, statutes, and related property documents and presenting clear summaries for legal review.
• Notary capability or willingness to handle notarization and local document pickup as required.
