Special Education Teacher - Canton, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Special Education teaching license preferred; those in the process of obtaining will also be considered
• Prior experience with high school-aged students is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and management
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with general education staff and families

Responsibilities:

• Serve as IEP caseload manager for a group of high school students
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and reevaluations
• Deliver differentiated instruction tailored to each student's unique needs
• Foster positive relationships and maintain open communication with educators and parents
