Occupational Therapist School Setting - Shingle Springs, CA

This full-time, full school year contract role focuses on providing essential occupational therapy services in a collaborative school environment. Candidates will serve multiple campuses within a close-knit community, delivering hands-on, in-person support to maximize student potential.

Occupational Therapists (OTs) and experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are encouraged to apply. For COTAs, virtual supervision by an OT will be provided, but all direct student interaction will be conducted in person. Please note, this is not a virtual or Voco position.

What we’re looking for:

• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
• School-based OT/COTA experience, especially for COTA candidates
• Comfortable supporting students with mild through severe needs
• Strong ability to adapt when working across multiple school sites (itinerant role)
• Commitment to delivering engaging, in-person therapy sessions
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and related service providers
• Proactive approach to managing caseloads and tracking student progress

Role responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy services for students with varying needs
• Develop individualized intervention plans in alignment with educational objectives
• Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and school teams to promote student success
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
• Travel between assigned school locations to deliver comprehensive support
• Ensure best practices in compliance with school policies and state guidelines
