Staff Pharmacist - Franklin, TN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a multi-licensed Staff Pharmacist with expertise in specialty pharmacy practice, focusing on complex infused drug therapies. This contract-to-hire position supports patients managing hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic conditions treated with advanced pharmaceutical regimens.

Location:
Franklin, TN (close to Nashville)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical management for patients requiring infused medications, including factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions.
• Provide detailed patient education on drug administration, side effect management, and adherence strategies to empower safe medication use at home.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, and care coordinators to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Assist with benefits navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to handle insurance authorizations and financial assistance programs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• Multi-state licensure strongly preferred; willingness to obtain additional licenses is essential
• Experience with CareTend software is highly desirable; training provided if needed
• Strong clinical knowledge of specialty therapies and infused drug protocols
