Qualifications:

• Valid Adapted Curriculum K-12 license
• General Curriculum K-12 license required if you have experience in self-contained classrooms and are comfortable managing behavioral needs
• Provisional licenses are not accepted; please confirm current Virginia Department of Education credentials
• Experience working with elementary students, especially those requiring significant behavioral and academic interventions
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction addressing both academic and behavioral goals for elementary-aged students
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate with other educators, staff, and families to support student growth
• Manage classroom environments that support positive behavior and academic achievement
• Participate in panel-style remote interviews and be ready for a quick hiring process
• Attend any orientation or training sessions as required by the district
