Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state requirements apply)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous classroom or resource room experience preferred

- Proven ability to adapt lesson plans and collaborate within a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student abilities
- Deliver engaging instruction across various subjects, adapting content as required
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and support staff to address student needs
- Monitor student progress, documenting and reporting on goal achievements
- Foster a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development as assigned
