As a valued member of the educational team, you'll play a crucial role in designing and delivering targeted instruction, building meaningful connections, and advocating for the diverse needs of your students. This position spans the academic year from September 1, 2026, to June 4, 2027, with approximately 35 hours per week in a supportive school district environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (SPED Tier 3 or 4)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting preferred
• Deep understanding of academic and behavioral support strategies for DCD/ASD students
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive educational atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction based on IEPs and student needs
• Develop lesson plans and classroom activities tailored to diverse learning styles
• Monitor progress, adjusting interventions as needed to promote growth
• Work closely with support staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain compliance with all documentation and reporting requirements
