Key Qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility
• Previous experience delivering speech and language services in an educational setting is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy approaches
• Exceptional communication and organization skills
• Compassion, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and reassessments for students with communication and language needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized IEP goals for eligible students
• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services, both one-on-one and in small groups
• Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student progress and strategies for support
• Maintain thorough documentation and timely records according to school and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative planning with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt interventions and materials to meet diverse student needs across grade levels
