Step into a meaningful role supporting young learners as a contract Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. This full-time position runs from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, and focuses on an elementary classroom specializing in ABA/Autism-based programs. What You’ll Need:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching Certification
- Experience or interest in working within ABA/Autism-based programs at the elementary level
- Strong ability to create and adapt lesson plans to diverse learning needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver specialized instruction for elementary students with varying abilities in an ABA/Autism-focused classroom
- Collaborate with related service providers, general education teachers, and families to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress, complete accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's needs
- Employ evidence-based strategies to encourage student growth and achievement
