Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required for strong CFY candidates
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and execute tailored treatment plans for students, ensuring IEP compliance and documentation
- Deliver therapy services individually and in groups, adapting methods to student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing progress and collaborating on student goals
- Provide guidance and training to educators and families to support carryover of strategies
- Maintain accurate records, submit required reports, and track student progress
