Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist licensure is required
- Previous experience in a school setting and with direct therapy preferred
- Must complete Texas fingerprinting requirements promptly if not already cleared
- Ability to work 20 hours per week throughout the academic year
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Candidates must already hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence; supervision for Clinical Fellows is not available for this role
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with service plans
- Deliver individualized and small group therapy sessions to support communication goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to tailor strategies for student success
- Keep accurate records of progress and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain compliance with state, district, and ethical guidelines at all times
