Make a meaningful difference supporting K-12 students in a contract school psychologist position located near Elizabeth, NJ. This part-time opportunity offers the flexibility of working approximately 20 hours per week, with your choice of two to three days that best suit your schedule. You’ll work within a supportive educational environment, providing critical services across multiple school sites through the end of the 2026-2027 academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid New Jersey School Psychologist license
  • Experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students (K-12)
  • Ability to adapt assessment and support techniques for diverse student needs
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills with staff, families, and administration
  • Comfortable managing a rotating caseload across several schools
  • Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cognitive, emotional, and behavioral assessments for students
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating on individualized student learning plans
  • Provide consultation services to teachers, administrators, and families
  • Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
