Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teacher license for the state of Colorado (or eligibility for reciprocal licensure)
- Previous experience teaching and developing IEPs for K-8 students preferred

- Commitment to inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Ability to adapt to the individualized needs of students in a diverse classroom environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction to K-8 students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals and abilities
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed to promote growth and achievement
- Work closely with general education teachers, specialists, and parents to create a positive, supportive learning experience
- Maintain accurate records and participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
This position involves working 40 hours per week in a K-8 educational setting, allowing you to build strong connections with students and staff over the course of your assignment.
