School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Arlington Heights, Illinois

Key Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP License required
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Previous school-based SLP experience, ideally with both elementary and middle school populations
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Commitment to delivering direct, in-person services throughout the assignment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to a diverse student caseload
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all federal and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Monitor and report student progress, modifying interventions as needed

This is a contract, full-time role with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week. You will be based onsite, playing a key role within the school community and impacting students’ communication development during a pivotal time.
