Key Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist 1) certification.
• Previous experience in special education preferred, though all enthusiastic and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, individualized educational experience for each student.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for assigned students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and staff to support student success.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and encouraging classroom environment.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques and strategies to address students’ unique learning styles.
• Maintain open and proactive communication with families and team members.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
• Participate in professional development and school meetings as required.
