Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active Special Education Teacher credential, with CDE (Colorado Department of Education) certification required
  • Previous experience teaching or supporting students in special education settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and accommodations
  • Excellent communication skills for working with students, families, and colleagues
  • Commitment to fostering an environment that celebrates student progress and diversity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track IEPs tailored to individual student goals
  • Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to accommodate various learning styles and needs
  • Assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimal growth
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff
  • Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
