This contract opportunity seeks a part-time professional to deliver hands-on care onsite, supporting students’ access to education and participation in daily activities. You’ll play a crucial role in assessing needs, planning individualized interventions, and helping children reach their fullest potential during the full school year.
What You Bring:
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly desirable
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and families
- Proficient in evaluating, developing, and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Passion for making a difference in student mobility and independence
- Ability to document progress accurately and maintain clear records
- Reliable and flexible, able to adapt to varying caseloads
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs
- Develop and carry out tailored treatment plans for each child, addressing educational and developmental goals
- Collaborate closely with school staff and caregivers to support student growth
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Educate staff and families on strategies to reinforce student progress
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
This onsite, part-time role offers a consistent schedule of 10–15 hours per week throughout the school year. Compensation ranges from $40-$50 per hour, with access to comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus 401(k) options.
