Job Description

This contract position offers the opportunity to support students for 1-2 days per week, totaling approximately 10-12 hours. As part of the upcoming full school year, you will help shape students’ academic journeys by promoting their mobility, physical health, and overall well-being.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Physical Therapy license in California
- Experience or strong interest in school-based PT practices
- Understanding of pediatric developmental milestones and therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to varying caseloads
- Previous school or pediatric experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ physical needs within the school setting
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Work closely with teachers and special education staff to support academic and functional success
- Document progress and adapt interventions as necessary
- Provide guidance and education to families and staff regarding student care
