You'll work onsite at one school with a manageable caseload—your primary focus will be an intermediate life skills class of 9 students, assisted by two skilled paraprofessionals. Additional openings are available across various life skills classrooms, covering a multi-categorical caseload and offering the opportunity to shape positive experiences each day.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for Indiana (IN)
• Previous experience with life skills or multi-categorical caseloads preferred
• Ability to foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to full-time onsite work throughout the 26/27 academic year (September–June)

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and modify curriculum to meet IEP goals
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families
• Adapt teaching methods and materials for student success
• Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
• Cultivate an encouraging atmosphere that empowers every learner
