Qualifications:

• Current Illinois Professional Educator License (IL PEL) with Special Education Teacher endorsement
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and best practices in differentiated instruction

• Ability to manage and adapt to a dynamic classroom setting
• Previous experience in special education preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s strengths and needs
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and accommodations to support unique learning styles
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to optimize student progress
• Track and document student outcomes, maintaining accurate and confidential records
