Step into an exciting opportunity to support early learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, specializing in early childhood education. Bring your expertise to a welcoming environment and make a meaningful impact on children aged 3-5 by covering a 12-week leave within a supportive district setting. The position is based in a vibrant community and runs from September 7, 2026, through approximately November 30, 2026, offering a part-time schedule: 22.5 hours per week across three days, Monday through Friday.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in school-based or early childhood SLP roles (ECSE 3-5 population a plus)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and record-keeping abilities
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively manage a dynamic caseload

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language interventions to preschool-aged students
  • Complete timely assessments and progress reports
  • Collaborate with educators and families, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Document all services in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging learning environment for all students
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and ongoing professional development throughout the assignment
