School Psychologist - Willoughby, Ohio

Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract School Psychologist across two dynamic educational settings. This engaging assignment offers a blend of in-person and remote work, ideal for professionals seeking variety and flexibility throughout the school year.

You will spend three days each week onsite in a K-12 environment, addressing the needs of students in Fairport Harbor. Additionally, you'll dedicate one day weekly to a specialized STEM school in Concord Township, working with students in grades 6-12. An extra day is allocated for remote completion of paperwork, and there may be the possibility of extending remote work to two days per week, based on further discussion with the team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active School Psychologist credential
• Experience or comfort working with K-12 and secondary (6-12) student populations
• Knowledge of assessments, eligibility determinations, and intervention strategies
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Proficiency with remote documentation platforms is a plus
• Ability to adjust quickly to multiple school settings and diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Support the creation and implementation of IEPs and 504 plans
• Consult with educators and parents regarding student strengths and challenges
• Provide crisis intervention and promote positive school climates
• Maintain detailed and secure documentation in compliance with applicable regulations
