Onsite Medical Reimbursement Associate

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay: $18-20 hourly

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage aged accounts receivable, focusing on timely claim follow-up and resolution.
• Research and resolve denied or unpaid claims through effective appeals and payer communication.
• Identify denial trends and recommend corrective actions to improve reimbursement outcomes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to achieve collection goals and optimize revenue cycle performance.
• Interpret and apply Medicare and commercial insurance policies accurately.
• Utilize knowledge of HCPCS codes, modifiers, and medical terminology to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all payer and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and track reports using Microsoft Excel to monitor accounts receivable performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical billing and accounts receivable, preferably in a high-volume healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and commercial insurance guidelines.
• Experience preparing persuasive written appeals for denied claims.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, HCPCS codes, and modifier usage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
