Active Respiratory Therapist license and 2+ years of in-patient hospital Respiratory Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking an experienced and compassionate professional to support patient care as a Respiratory Therapist. This engaging contract opportunity calls for a candidate with a strong background in respiratory therapy, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach. Qualifications & Skills:

  • Valid credentials as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • Active and unrestricted applicable state license
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications, or willingness to obtain if required
  • Demonstrated expertise in ventilator management, aerosol therapy, airway management, and related procedures
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment and varying patient needs
  • Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Administer respiratory therapies and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor patient response, perform assessments, and adjust therapy as needed
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
  • Provide education to patients and families on care plans and equipment use
  • Accurately document all procedures, treatments, and patient interactions
  • Participate actively in emergency response situations such as rapid response or code blue events
  • Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and allied disciplines for comprehensive patient care
  • Follow facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards

$1,474 - $1,613/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
