Step into a rewarding role delivering crucial physical therapy services to students ranging in age from preschool to young adulthood. An outstanding full-time opportunity is available for a dedicated Physical Therapist to support learners ages 3–21 on a 12-month contract basis, including Extended School Year programming. Enjoy a flexible schedule offering 35 daytime hours each week (Monday through Friday) with some early morning or evening consultation and training responsibilities. Flextime options are available, accommodating the ideal work–life balance. This position is set within a year-round school, requiring participation during the summer session.

Qualifications and Required Experience:

  • Current Physical Therapist licensure from the Maryland State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners
  • In-depth understanding of sensory-motor development and musculoskeletal function for pediatric and adolescent populations
  • Experienced in applying evaluative and therapeutic techniques tailored to individuals with multiple disabilities, ages 3–21
  • Proficient in assessing and recommending orthotics, wheelchairs, adaptive positioning solutions, and other assistive devices
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with students, families, and interdisciplinary school teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement individualized therapy programs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to ensure integrated care
  • Monitor progress, maintain required documentation, and contribute to IEP development
  • Participate in professional development, training, and consultation sessions
