Qualifications:
- Master's degree in speech and communication disorders
- Active SLP licensure in Minnesota
- PELSB certification
Your Role:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions for K-8 students with speech, articulation, language or communication challenges
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough records and progress notes to track student improvement and comply with school and state guidelines
- Provide resources and strategies to staff and families to help reinforce progress beyond therapy sessions
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student’s voice is valued and supported
