Job Description
LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a well-established and growing commercial real estate organization. This position is ideal for an accounting professional with experience supporting commercial property portfolios. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, CAM reconciliations, and financial analysis, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position pays 95K-100K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements and ownership reports for a portfolio of commercial properties.
  • Perform CAM, real estate tax, and insurance reconciliations and assist with tenant recoveries.
  • Review general ledger activity and ensure proper coding of revenue and expenses.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain fixed asset schedules.
  • Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide supporting explanations.
  • Support property transitions, including onboarding newly acquired assets.
  • Review property-level reporting for accuracy and make corrections when necessary.
  • Interpret lease agreements and other legal documents impacting financial reporting.
  • Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 3+ years of commercial real estate or property accounting experience.
  • Strong understanding of CAM reconciliations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with Yardi, MRI or similar property management/accounting software is highly preferred.
Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
