Middle School Special Education Teacher - West Grove, PA

Bring your expertise and passion for inclusive education to an engaging onsite role, supporting middle school students in an Autistic Support Classroom. In this setting, you’ll guide a small group of approximately six students with the support of experienced PCAs, enabling targeted, individualized instruction and a positive classroom culture that encourages every learner.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience teaching middle school age groups, especially in special education
• Strong understanding of autistic support strategies and individualized education plans (IEP)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with PCAs, other staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an engaging, supportive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction and modify curriculum based on students’ strengths and needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs with input from families and team
• Foster a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom atmosphere with support staff
• Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate outcomes
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and fellow educators
• Participate in team meetings, ongoing professional development, and school initiatives
