Step into an impactful opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a dynamic and collaborative educational environment. ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a school-based, contracted position near Rio Linda, CA for the 26/27 school semester. We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for a position serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 5th grade. This role encompasses working with speech-only students, those participating in Resource Specialist Programs with speech services, and students in Special Day Classrooms. You’ll work closely with a supportive team, including another experienced SLP already on site, ensuring students receive high-quality, individualized services. Immediate placement is needed, so your expertise can make a difference right away.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Prior school-based experience, especially with SDC (Special Day Class) caseloads, is highly preferred
  • Experience in developing and implementing IEPs for speech and language needs
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with teachers and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse elementary caseload
  • Assess, develop, and monitor individualized plans tailored to students’ unique needs
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, documentation, and ongoing progress monitoring
  • Contribute to a positive and student-centered school culture
