Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current New Mexico license issued by the New Mexico Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Board
• New Mexico PED Ancillary and Support Services license
• Clinical experience in school settings or pediatrics (CFY candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Effective communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication challenges for elementary and middle school students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide both group and individual therapy sessions tailored to student needs
• Serve as a resource for parents and educators regarding best practices in speech and language interventions
