Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Opportunity for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide virtual therapy and evaluations within a dynamic school district in Alabama. These contracts offer an extended assignment through May 27, 2027, supporting a caseload capped at 60 students. This role requires delivering teletherapy services tailored to school-aged children across multiple educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy and conduct evaluations via teletherapy platforms.
- Manage caseloads not to exceed 60 students, ensuring quality and individualized care.
- Collaborate virtually with school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Alabama ASHA Certification is mandatory.
- Alabama Educator SLP Certification required; provisional candidates may begin while certification is pending.
- Experience with teletherapy practices in educational environments preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively and adapt to virtual service delivery.
Location: Virtual services supporting schools based in Montgomery, Alabama.
