Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Fresno, CA

Step into a fulfilling opportunity supporting elementary students as a School-Based SLPA on a contract assignment covering a maternity leave this school year. You’ll work full-time from mid-October through early February, serving a TK–5th grade caseload in an engaging and collaborative school setting.

You’ll benefit from close, supportive supervision by a highly regarded SLP who is invested in ensuring a strong partnership and a positive learning experience. Prior to starting, potential candidates will connect directly with the supervising SLP to establish compatibility and set the stage for success.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Hold an active California SLPA license
• Minimum of 3 months of hands-on experience as an SLPA, ideally within a school or pediatric setting
• Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for helping children thrive in their communication and social development

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language support services under the guidance of the supervising SLP
• Work with TK–5th grade students to enhance language, articulation, and social communication skills
• Assist with documentation, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Foster an inclusive and welcoming environment for all learners
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth
