LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Melville to identify a Research Billing Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting or finance professional who enjoys problem-solving, financial analysis, billing, collections, and working in a collaborative environment. You will play a key role in managing the financial lifecycle of clinical research studies while serving as a liaison between research sites and study sponsors.
Location: Melville, NY (Remote with in-office collaboration two days per month)
Salary: $62,000 - $69,000 annually
Schedule: 35-hour workweek
Key Responsibilities:
· Review and approve research budgets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
· Generate monthly invoices to study sponsors based on research activity.
· Manage high-volume collections and conduct follow-up on outstanding invoices.
· Reconcile sponsor payments and process timely payments to research sites.
· Analyze and reconcile financial data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues.
· Perform final financial reconciliations upon study completion.
· Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing departmental projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business preferred, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, billing, collections, or related financial operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of learning new software systems quickly.
