Qualifications & Skills:

  • Active Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility with current application in process
  • Experience or strong interest in early childhood/early intervention settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessment, intervention planning, and direct services for preschool-aged children
  • Comfortable working as part of a multi-disciplinary evaluation team
  • Excellent communication abilities for partnering with families, teachers, and other professionals
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and organized—ready to thrive in an itinerant, school-based environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations as part of an EI evaluation team
  • Create and implement individualized intervention plans for children ages 3-5
  • Deliver direct therapy and support in a variety of early childhood settings
  • Communicate effectively with families, offering guidance and resources
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with program and state requirements
