What You Bring:
- Valid teaching licensure: Multi-Categorical K-6, Multi-Categorical 5-12, or Autism (AU) Certification (required)
- Passion for working with students who have unique learning needs, especially those with Autism
- Ability to collaborate with families, staff, and support professionals
- Classroom management and individualized instruction skills
- Commitment to supporting a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Full-time availability for the duration of the 2026/2027 academic year, with students starting August 20, 2026 and ending May 28, 2027
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Foster a safe and welcoming classroom atmosphere for students with exceptionalities
- Adapt instruction and materials for accessibility and engagement
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, therapists, and administrators
- Participate in professional development and parent meetings as needed
- Track and communicate student progress
