Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification
• Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Ability to develop and adapt IEPs based on individual student progress
• Strong commitment to inclusive and equitable education
• Capacity to employ a range of instructional strategies and behavior interventions

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students
• Deliver engaging instruction tailored to individual learning needs
• Track and document student development and communicate progress to parents and staff
• Foster a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment
• Modify curriculum and create accommodations to support student achievement
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
• Use data-driven instruction to inform teaching practices and interventions
