Exciting school-based contract opportunities are available for Speech-Language Pathologists eager to make a meaningful impact on student success. Two full-time SLP positions are open, each offering a unique blend of collaboration and autonomy alongside a supportive educational team. With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll have the chance to work closely with students from diverse backgrounds, supporting communication growth and academic achievement.

Details of the available roles:

  • Position 1: Focuses on a high school caseload, collaborating with an existing SLP to manage overflow and provide essential therapy services to students.
  • Position 2: Offers variety, splitting time between high school and middle school populations, allowing for broad experience and meaningful connections with students at different developmental stages.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in California (or eligibility)
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based settings
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs, and performing assessments
  • A passion for helping students achieve their fullest potential

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans
  • Delivering direct therapy services and tracking student progress
  • Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to optimize outcomes
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with school policies
  • Participating in IEP meetings and supporting a positive school environment
