Special Education Teacher | Euclid, Ohio

Make a meaningful impact as an Intervention Specialist supporting students with diverse learning needs in an engaging, collaborative school environment. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in-person with caseloads crossing Pre-K to Kindergarten and Grades 5–8. The assignment begins immediately and continues through June 1, 2027, providing valuable experience and growth in an inclusive educational setting. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• State certification as an Intervention Specialist or Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with various disabilities, including both early childhood and middle school populations
• Knowledge of implementing, monitoring, and updating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration skills with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet the unique needs of each student
• Excellent organizational and documentation abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized, differentiated instruction tailored to students’ individual learning requirements
• Monitor student progress, gathering data and adapting interventions to maximize student success
• Communicate effectively with general education teachers, related service teams, and families
• Develop and maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with special education regulations
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and insight for student planning
