Occupational Therapist School Setting in Wilton, ME

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing vital Occupational Therapy services in a supportive school-based setting near Wilton, ME. This onsite role runs from ASAP through June 2027 and offers a flexible schedule of 14-21 hours per week across 2-3 days. You'll have the chance to make a positive impact on students' development and functional independence, with a caseload determined in collaboration with you to ensure the best fit.

Your role will focus on delivering assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each student’s unique needs. You'll engage with students, families, and educational professionals to promote engagement in school-based activities and develop tailored strategies for success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Previous experience in school settings strongly preferred; experience in healthcare or home health OT a plus
• Strong understanding of pediatric developmental, physical, and behavioral needs
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable and proactive with a passion for student success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy services onsite in accordance with each student’s goals
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with educational teams and participate in IEPs or team meetings
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services
