Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current NJ School Psychologist license.
- Experience working with K-12 student populations, including conducting assessments, interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with educators, students, and families.
- Ability to build trust with students from diverse backgrounds and provide trauma-informed, culturally competent support.
- Comfortable working independently and managing a moderate caseload.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for K-12 students.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and recommendations to support student mental health and academic progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create and implement effective strategies for students’ success.
- Maintain clear, confidential documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Adapt services across elementary, middle, and high school settings to meet varied student needs.
