Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide crucial support at a local school for a maternity leave coverage. This contract role is perfect for those passionate about making a difference in pediatric populations while gaining valuable school-based experience. The assignment runs from August 19th through the end of October and offers full-time hours. Immediate interviews are being scheduled, so you can step into a rewarding position quickly.

Ideal candidates will bring experience with pediatric speech therapy in educational or healthcare environments and feel comfortable with both in-person and teletherapy models. New graduates and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are also encouraged to apply. You will play a vital role in supporting students’ communication needs, collaborating with educators, and helping ensure continuity of care during the leave period.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, ideally in a school or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with IEPs, progress monitoring, and goal writing
  • Eligible Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome; supervision provided
  • Comfortable providing both onsite and teletherapy services

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and interventions
  • Document and track student progress according to school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support ongoing communication needs during the assigned leave coverage
