Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license in Pennsylvania, in good standing
• Previous experience as a school nurse or similar pediatric/educational health role highly preferred
• Familiarity with managing routine medication administration, first aid, emergency response, and chronic medical conditions
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and staff
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing situations
• CPR and First Aid certification required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health services in a middle school health room, assessing and treating student health needs
• Deliver care for injuries, acute illnesses, and chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in accordance with school and state regulations
• Support health education initiatives and preventative care programs
• Serve as a float nurse as required, assisting across multiple school buildings to address varying healthcare needs
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to promote a safe and healthy school environment
