School Speech Language Pathologist - Albany, NY

This position is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, CCC) who is passionate about making a positive impact on young learners’ communication skills. You’ll be working hands-on with a caseload requiring 39 sessions per week, providing either full-time support or a flexible three-day schedule.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid New York SLP License and TSSLD certification (Teaching Students with Speech and Language Disabilities)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) required
• Previous experience in school settings or working with elementary students strongly preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
• Provide direct speech-language therapy to individuals and/or small groups
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Develop individualized treatment plans, set measurable goals, and monitor student progress
• Engage with school staff and families to foster a supportive learning environment
