Five openings are available for onsite roles serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Ideal candidates hold an active Delaware Special Education Teacher license and are adaptable to a range of grade levels and school cultures. Applicants may indicate their preference for placement at Claymont Elementary, Harlan Elementary, Maple Lane Elementary, Mount Pleasant High School, or P.S. duPont Middle School.

Qualifications:

• Valid Delaware Special Education Teacher license is required
• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs
• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students with varying disabilities in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families

This contract position offers consistent hours (35 per week) with schedules aligned to elementary (8:30am-4pm), middle (7:10am-3:10pm), and high school (7:15am-2:45pm) settings, Monday through Friday. Teachers can also note their preferred school location for a customized fit.
