Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language services for early learners in the Albany, OR area. This full-time, 40-hour position begins in August 2026, serving as part of an Early Intervention (EI) Program with a focus on early childhood caseloads. As a key member of the evaluation team, you’ll work in an itinerant capacity and enjoy robust support from an experienced EI team dedicated to student success.

Qualifications:

  • Current or in-process state of Oregon license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Relevant experience with early intervention and early childhood populations preferred
  • Strong evaluation and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to excel in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability to travel between sites as part of an itinerant role

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a diverse early childhood caseload
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in team evaluations
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans
  • Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and EI colleagues to support holistic development
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with program standards
  • Provide ongoing consultation and training for educational staff and families as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and outreach
