Job Description
Make a real impact this school year by supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Provide high-quality onsite services across two campuses near Venice, FL, for the 2026-2027 year. This full-time position offers flexibility—with both full- and part-time schedules considered—and an engaging opportunity to work with dedicated education and support teams.
You’ll divide your time between two supportive campuses:
- North Port HS (3 days each week)
- Oak Park (2 days each week)
Your speech and language expertise will help empower students to achieve communication milestones essential to their learning and growth.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Florida.
- Either Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Experience working in a school based setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure educational progress.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings.
- Engage students on-site and adapt techniques based on individual needs.
